Job Description
- Responsible for extensive experience in the entire early drug discovery process, including new target proposal/selection, hit-finding strategies, lead identification, lead optimization and selection of clinical candidates.
- Use innovative technology - AI/Machine learning/Big Data to drive drug discovery
- Assesses the relative impact of emerging technology to strategic business needs and interprets their meaning to senior organisation leadership team
- Research on technology road map of decision-making platform, plan for technical architectures of digital R&D, responsible for creation, development and breakthrough of AI products and frameworks to support drug discovery
The Successful Applicant
- PhD in computer science, data science, computational chemistry or biology, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of algorithm development experience in industry. Pharma or biotech experience is preferred.
- Strong expertise in programming, scientific computing, and machine/deep learning etc.
- Hands-on experience of methodology or software development with tractable open-source contributions or scientific publications.
- Mangement experience in industry is preferred.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
