About Our Client
Our client is an established company within manufacturing and brand space who is now expanding a new business area. This is going to be an exciting role helping to launch new brands into the APAC e-commerce market.
Job Description
The Business Manager will represent our client in a strategic role, working closely with an agency partner to drive the China market. This person will be highly involved in the Go-to-market strategies of brands and will need very strong knowledge in the China e-commerce market. You will be monitoring performance and be involved in P&L management, budgeting and planning. This position will be responsible for developing strong relationships with partners and ensuring that projects are running smoothly and efficiently. In addition, you will be responsible for exploring opportunities across the APAC market as well and developing strategic plans for new markets. You will work closely with the CEO.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must have at least 6 years of experience in an e-commerce position and must have experience and knowledge with Chinese online marketplaces and APAC marketplaces. This person must be an entrepreneur and strives to be proactive and work independently. The candidate must be number sensitive and it would be ideal if they have a good background in P&L management, budgeting and planning. They should also be strong in analysis and can interpret data. You must speak very fluent Mandarin and English for this role.
