About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading Corporate Training and Knowledge Management names in the world. For the last 25 years, they have served many leading corporate and public sector organisations and have extended their offices in over 10 countries around the world. They are now looking for an experienced and talented Business Development Manager to join and further develop the market in Hong Kong.
As the Business Development Manager you will directly report to the Chief Commercial Officer, APAC and will be responsible for driving sales and business growth. You will manage and support the business development and sales with professional firms by consultatively promoting corporate training and knowledge management solutions. You will take part in developing and coordinating custom programs to meet client requirements. You will strategically manage regional key clients by building relationships with them to manage the continuous development and performance of the accounts. You are also expected to take part in marketing/promotional activity to support sales targets and develop leads into working partnerships.
The Successful Applicant
You will have at least 5 years of experience in a sales position with a Solutions Sales/business development background. Those with regional experience within the education/corporate training industry will be highly regarded. You should have a track record of significant sales growth as an individual contributor. You will have an excellent command of English (Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred but not required) as well as be presentable, excellent communications and confident demeanour. To achieve results you should be a strong sales and be commercially driven with a desire to take responsibility of your market.
