We're seeking a hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager who can balance strategic business planning and hands-on project management (following a Sr. PM). You'll play a key role in ensuring a seamless transition from on-premises to cloud infrastructure while driving effective change management and collaboration across business lines.

Solid insurance operations workflow (claims, underwriting, etc.) knowledge is required. Very basic concepts of cloud technologies would be a plus, but not mandatory.

Job Description

  • Act as a hybrid business analyst and junior project manager for the he ongoing cloud migration initiative
  • Engage with multiple business lines to plan and communicate migration efforts, fostering alignment and minimizing disruption.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT and business units, ensuring technical and operational needs are met
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in the IT or insurance domain
  • Solid understanding of insurance operations workflows (e.g., claims, underwriting) and experience with change management in complex environments
  • Basic cloud knowledge-comfortable with terms and concepts is ideal, though deep technical expertise isn't required (not a must)
  • Strong ability to manage cross-functional communication and planning processes
  • Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English is required
  • Team player and proactiveness is required
