The BD & Marketing Executive is an integral member of the Asia Pacific Marketing Team responsible for marketing & business development duties for Hong Kong office mainly. Occasional coverage for other APAC offices may be required.

Our client is an international law firm which is consistently ranked as upper tiers in multiple practice areas including capital markets, structured finance, and dispute resolutions.

Job Description

As a key member of the team, you will be guided by BD & Marketing Manager and co-work with BD & Marketing Assistant in marketing and business development duties, with the goal to support Partners to achieve business objectives. Specific tasks will include assisting in preparing pitch documents/response to RFPs (English and Chinese), updating marketing materials, assisting in preparing directory submissions, publishing client alerts, arranging events (incl. webinar, seminar, networking event), managing social media and website content, and others as assigned by supervisor.You will be given opportunities to own specific projects and develop yourself as an independent BD & Marketing professional, with training from your manager and support from a BD & Marketing Assistant. You will also polish your stakeholder management and project management skills.

The Successful Applicant

The qualified candidate should have obtained a bachelor's degree and proficiency in English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Strong writing skills in English and Chinese are required. Prior experience (2-3 years+) in marketing or business development in law firms is required. The hiring manager is looking for soft attributes such as detail-mindedness, passion, willingness to learn, flexibility, and adaptability.
