About Our Client
Our client is a global materials company, focusing particularly on the manufacture of plastics, latex, and synthetic rubber.
The regional TPE Business development manager will work closely the Global Industry Leader - Footwear to:
Develop market knowledge to identify potential new TPE customers (OEM & Tier)
For new customers:
*Develop customer relationship
*Assess overall customer profile and needs regarding TPEs and develop a possible participation plan for the company's aligned with TPE Footwear strategy
*Manage prioritized TPE business opportunities as per Footwear TPE strategy: promote our TPE products and solutions, manage projects, negotiate and close commercial deals towards profitable sustained business growth
*Manage the new customer account for the newly developed customers
*Consolidate existing customer needs for new products for the region and shape new product development with T&I group, Global Industry Leader - Footwear and Marketing Manager
*Report, prioritize and manage a list of business opportunities projects as per agreement with Global Industry Leader - Footwear
*Develop and maintain TPE market intelligence to understand the market players, customer's organization and structure, competitive situation, trends and future needs, and possible fit with the company. Share with others to promote increased value.
*Map, build and develop relationships with customers, influencers, decision makers and sponsors through daily contacts.
*Understand & proactively analyze customer's TPE product and service needs.
Identify, assess & prioritize value growth initiatives, & input into participation plan
*Manage prioritized TPE business opportunities as per Footwear TPE strategy: promote our TPE products and solutions, manage projects (project plan and implementation, team management), negotiate and close commercial deals towards profitable sustained business growth
*Primarily focal point for our organization in front of the customer locally: lead the resources required to effectively manage the customers, and manage communication to the customer
*Manage the new customer account and assigned existing customers.
Own sales process (Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Volume commitments, Rebates, Credit management, forecasting) : negotiate local terms of sales at Customer interface as needed, capture orders and finish order process. Demonstrate sales excellence : smooth and disciplined use of tools and continuous improvement effort
*Monitor, track and report monthly progress of agreed indicators vs. plan
*Work closely with Customers along with the company' s Technology & Innovation team to identify new application areas and new product development where the products can be positioned for success to create differentiation and long term sustainability. Shape product development with T&I and Marketing.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree required.
> 3 years of successful sales experience required in TPE application
> 3 years of experience in project management or business development
> 5 years of experience in Footwear market

Fluent in English, verbal and written
