Job Description

  • Translate business needs into scalable, ethical, and impactful AI/data solutions.
  • Plan and lead end-to-end implementation of AI/Data programs and projects across the organization.
  • Design and deliver cutting-edge AI and GenAI use cases, bridging business requirements with technical implementation.
  • Lead solution design process, defining functional, technical, and control requirements.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable AI/data solution blueprints in collaboration with data scientists and engineers.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Explore and adopt advanced analytical tools and approaches to enhance effectiveness of analytics and modeling.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct market and technology research to stay ahead of trends in AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote continuous learning of new Fintech solutions and share best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in data and analytics, with at least 3+ years in technical leadership managing AI/ML delivery.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex data solutions within Financial Services or Fintech.
  • Experience managing full SDLC for AI products from PoC to production deployment.



Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of AI/ML methodologies (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, GenAI), data engineering, prompt engineering, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Strong ability to design end-to-end AI applications, including model selection and infrastructure planning.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for prototyping, code reviews, and technical oversight.
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into technical AI specifications and explain constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of banking business models and regulatory environment preferred.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese.
