This role will report directly to the regulatory/central compliance team head whilst working alongside several other colleagues. This role will be responsible for central compliance duties.

About Our Client

My client is one of the largest retail banks in Asia. They also have businesses in corporate bank, private bank, and investment banking. They have over 600 staff based in Hong Kong office.

Job Description

  • Liaise with SFC and HKMA to facilitate regulatory examinations, questionnaires, surveys, investigations, and reporting requirements
  • Maintain and update compliance manuals and policies
  • Disseminate laws and regulations issued by regulators and coordinate gap analysis with business units
  • Handle licensing and notification related matters for key regulatory positions
  • Work with group compliance to keep abreast of and adhere to the updated group policies and requirements
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior management review

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Business, Accounting, Law or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years' working experience in regulatory/bank field (HKMA and SFC licensed)
  • Prefer candidates with experience in e banking
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
