Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, this role will provide crucial support to investment management activities, ensuring the smooth operation of various middle office functions, administrative tasks, accounting processes, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate and timely records, managing operational procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


  1. Middle Office Operations:
    • Perform trade processing, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
    • Monitor and resolve trade-related issues, such as failed trades or discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, brokers, and custodians to ensure accurate and timely trade settlement.
    • Maintain trade-related documentation and records.

  2. Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the investment team and other departments as needed.
    • Manage travel arrangements, calendar scheduling, and expense reporting for team members.
    • Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events.
    • Handle correspondence, maintain files, and organize documentation.

  3. Accounting and Finance:
    • Assist in financial accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
    • Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process.
    • Assist in analyzing financial data and generating insightful reports for management.

  4. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
    • Identify and report any operational or compliance risks to management.
    • Assist in implementing and enhancing operational procedures to mitigate risks.
    • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of investment management operations and financial markets.
  • Previous experience in middle office operations, accounting, finance, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
