About Our Client

As part of a larger financial group, our client is a leading bank in Asia with a growing team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

This role will report to the Senior VP in handling the following duties:

  • Acting as 1.5 line of defense in reviewing and monitoring compliance related activities and requirements;
  • Ensuring the internal business risk control and compliance standards are upheld;
  • Follow up on any discrepancies or irregularities found;
  • Assist in projects related to investment products and structured products;
  • Assist with internal and external audit reviews.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a degree holder and have around 5+ years of transferable business compliance experience either from another large corporate bank or big 4 (handling corporate banking clients). It is preferred that the candidate is familiar with regulatory compliance relating to HKMA and/or SFC requirements. Strong written skills in English is essential for the policy drafting.
