About Our Client
Our client is a start-up that focuses on developing therapeutic solutions for rare and/or currently untreatable diseases with precision gene editing.
Job Description
- Design, execute and document laboratory work and experiments
- Design, optimize and troubleshoot experimental protocols and workflows
- Plan R&D work according to time frame and report experimental progress to supervisors regularly
- Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
The Successful Applicant
- Master's degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, life sciences, biomedical engineering or relevant fields
- Bachelor degree holder with 2+ years of R&D experience might also be considered
- Hands-on experience in PCR, mammalian cell culture and/or RNP transfection
- Experience in NGS library preparation with Illumina's platform is a plus
- Detail-minded and passionate in the R&D field
- PhD degree is required for senior scientist position
