Assistant Manager (Product Development: Travel Kit-Set/ Toys)
About Our Client
My client is a leading trading organisation in smart home accessories, toys and travel kit-set. In light of the fast growing business, they are now calling for an Assistant Manager to join their team.
Responsible for purchasing activities, from sampling to order follow up, inventory management
Develop new supplier base & maintain strong relationship with existing suppliers
Ensure raw material quality, costs as well as trading terms
Negotiate prices with regional suppliers
Manage supplier's performances
Travel occasionally across APAC for factory/Supplier visits
The Successful Applicant
At least 6 years experiences in Sourcing, Merchandising or Procurement functions (gift and premium)
Good sense of marketing trend and product knowledge with particular raw materials
Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Strong communication and organisation skills
Able to plan and multitask, work on various projects and with multiple buyers at the same time.
