About Our Client
Our client is a Chinese state owned corporation with a diverse business in Asia. The Hong Kong office is the headquarters to this business unit, and oversees a headcount of 1,800 employees across 3 locations in Asia with the support of the local HR teams.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will act as a hands-on generalist for a full spectrum of HR operations in Asia. You will take an active role in planning, developing and implementing HR policies and effective HR strategies to support the needs of the organisation. You will work closely with the key business stakeholders in the region to understand their needs and provide excellent business partnering and HR advisory services to support their business growth. You will direct the team to explore the HR data and execute HR analytic studies to see how you can further improve the talent management and pipeline for the group.
The Successful Applicant
To be the successful candidate, you will be degree qualified in Human Resources with at least 12 years HR generalist experience from sizeable Chinese companies or state owned enterprises. Experience in leading 1-2 countries in Asia will be essential and knowledge in using BI and other HR systems for HR data analysis will be key. To succeed in this role, you will be able to converse in fluent Mandarin and able to prepare HR reports and presentations in Chinese.
