Job Description

As the Area Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:-Representing the brands in Far East countries to achieve sales objectives.

-Managing customer development, sales processes, customer interaction, and company profitability to meet or exceed sales and profit targets, as well as customer expectations in the Asia region, while overseeing the distribution business.

-Developing and monitoring the sales budget and strategy in collaboration with the Sales Director and distributor, establishing budgets, sales targets, and brand strategy.

-Collaborating with the parent company headquarters to devise growth plans for East Asian countries, analyzing distributors, budgets, sales, and brand strategy.

-Strengthening relationships with partners and achieving sales targets. This role requires strategic decision-making in distribution channel strategy and the development and execution of business plans.

-Creating sales forecasts, managing customer orders and allocations, and ensuring the distributor invests the agreed quantities as per the marketing plan.

-Working closely with the distributor to develop the market and ensure the implementation of marketing plans for each brand.

-Coordinating annual marketing and communication plans for products and overseeing their execution.

The Successful Applicant

-The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the perfume/beauty industry.

-Strong negotiation, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

-In-depth understanding of perfume distribution in East Asia is required.

-A proven sales track record and a passion for perfume, along with an extensive network within the perfume and beauty industry.

-Exceptional communication and networking skills, with a self-motivated and results-driven approach.

-Ability to work independently and strive for the highest standards of performance.

-Autonomy, entrepreneurial mindset, and an energetic personality are desired qualities. Experience in generating sales reports and possessing a strategic mindset are prerequisites for this position. Fluency in Cantonese and English is mandatory, while proficiency in additional Asian languages is highly advantageous.
