My Client is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, experienced supply Chain director to be a part of their Asia Pacific Organization. As the Supply Chain Director, Asia, oversee and optimize all supply chain operations, including purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, planning, and logistics in Asia region. This role requires strategic leadership and collaboration across Asia teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the supply chain process.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive operational excellence across the organization.
  • Lead the procurement optimization, including vendor selection and negotiation, to ensure the quality and pricing for materials and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, ensure compliance with agreements, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and generate reports for executive leadership.
  • Develop, train and coach supply chain professionals. Recruit, train, and mentor a highperforming supply chain team. Drive engagement and collaboration.
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above, mechanical engineering or Supply Chain Management (alternatively, CPIM certified or in progress).
  • 15+ years of successful track record in supply chain management of manufacturing related with 8+ year in senior management role. Familiar with metal\chemical raw material resource in apac region.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP, especially around Demand and Replenishment processes.
  • Detailed understanding of Supply Chain concepts, systems, tools and business processes.
