About Our Client
My client is a foreign private company of distributing business of capital goods. They have global presence with Hong Kong being the regional headquarter for APAC. Through constant acquisition, they are sitting on a minimum 5% YoY growth for more than 5 quarters. The company is looking for a new talent to join their regional finance team for the business expansion.
Reporting to APAC Finance Director, the Controller will take on the regional book. You will be looking after six countries books and provide the corporate with regional financial package. You will also look after the regional FP&A function to support the business needs. You are also expected to be responsible for monthly accounting closing, cash-flow forecast, annual statutory audit, tax planning and compliance for the APAC region. You are also expected to be the bridge between the corporate and local countries.
The Successful Applicant
You should have at least 8 years of regional experience in consolidation and a qualification of accounting. Hands on experience in accounting and consolidation is a must while experience of working in retail, FMCG, consumer goods, trading industry is much preferred. You should also have CPA firm training, preferable from Big 4. Seasoned users in SAP or Oracle with system implementation experience and excellent communication is an advantage.
