About Our Client

My client, a large-scale integration solutions provider, is currently engaged in a major development project for several key government initiatives. We're actively seeking two types of candidates to support this project:

  • Analyst Programmer: Minimum 2 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • System Analyst: Minimum 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures that platform architecture meets our growth, monitoring and alerting goals;
  • Leads deep, complex, and high-risk technical projects, and control the communication around them;
  • Collaborates with client and makes the right business requirements;
  • Mentors junior team members with guidance around techniques, tools, and best practices;
  • Designs and develops features and capabilities;
  • Managing source code using Git;
  • Querying platform data using SQL-based DBs;
  • Working on complex Java Web Services using Spring Boot;
  • Tracking Sprint work in Jira and documenting complex details and decisions in Confluence;
  • Building automated tests alongside sprint work that is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline;
  • Submit pull requests and integrate review feedback from others on the team;
  • Able to troubleshoot complex bugs that may arise during development;
  • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.



The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or a related field;
  • At least 6 years of Software Development experience in Consulting/ In-house / other industries;
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • 2 - 6 years experience in Software development (React, Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, MySQL, Microservices);
  • Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies;
  • Quality assurance and testing;
  • Experience in leading small teams;
  • Capable of working independently while being an effective team collaborator;
  • Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English;
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Analyst Programmer
