About Our Client

A top tier Overseas Investment Arm of a SOE background of Financial Institutions in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Assist in managing existing alternative investment portfolios and undertake post-investment management responsibilities for selected portfolio projects, encompassing fund investments and direct investments.
  • Support the team in managing new alternative fund projects, including manager coverage, strategy and product screening, due diligence, legal negotiations, and implementation.
  • Oversee internal and group-level reporting for managed projects, alongside regulatory reporting related to alternative investments.
  • Undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to candidates majoring in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related disciplines;
  • Minimum of seven years' relevant work experience, with preference given to candidates possessing experience in investment banking or alternative portfolio management;
  • Understanding of investment project and fund structures, legal frameworks, etc.;
  • Experience in liaising and collaborating with external asset management firms, investment banks, audit firms and law firms;
  • Preference given to candidates holding qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or FRM.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English;
  • Teamwork Spirit and ability to work under pressure.
