Our client is a leading and reputable freight forwarding company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as an Air Freight Operation Officer. As an Air Freight Operation Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of air cargo operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of their company in the dynamic field of supply chain.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and oversee air freight operations, including the receipt, handling, and delivery of cargo.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in the air cargo industry.
  • Coordinate with customers, airlines, ground handlers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement.
  • Prepare and process required documentation, such as air waybills, customs clearance documents, and invoices.
  • Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Handle and resolve any issues or exceptions related to cargo, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, customer service, and warehousing, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all air cargo operations, including cargo manifests, shipment details, and billing information.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Air Transport or other related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
