About Our Client
Our client is a multinational corporation based in Vancouver, with various real estate investment and property development. They are now looking for an accounting professional to join their company.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director, you are expected to:
- Prepare quarterly and year-end financial reporting
- Review internal controls environment
- Lead 2 staff and review the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes
- Review payroll and cash flow forecast
- Prepare quarterly budgeting and forecasting for senior management
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant disciplines. MBA is preferred
- CPA qualified
- Minimum 5-year experience in Real Estate/ Property industry. Experience in foreign property management is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Canada accounting standard, taxation, and legislation
- Solid supervising experience for no less than 1 year
