Job Description

As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing portfolio accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports for alternative investments.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit and tax documents.
  • Monitoring and reconciling investment transactions and valuations.
  • Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
  • Providing insights and analysis on portfolio performance and trends.
  • Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and portfolio accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
