Job Description
In this high-profile role, you will be responsible for managing AML policy and procedural changes across the region as they arise, and delivering and implementing these changes across the business. Leading a small team, you will partner with the business providing advisory on specialist AML and KYC issues. You will also be the main contact point for developing and delivering AML training across Asia, and thrive on working on a project basis covering key AML policies and regulations. Additionally, you will be a leader in representing the firm on AML policy across the region by taking part in industry conferences, seminars, and keeping abreast on industry happenings.
The Successful Applicant
You will have at least seven years of relevant experience in Compliance, with more than 10 years of overall working experience within the financial services industry, either with a leading Bank, Consulting Firm, or Risk Advisory business. Candidates with a Legal background will also be considered. You will have strong previous project and people management experience and have a passion for understanding the AML and compliance world. You will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able think laterally, objectively and be able to dive into detail. Additionally, you will be a highly respected mentor and have prior leadership experience in training, motivating, and developing a team.
