About Our Client
Our client is a global organization and a leading manufacturer of electrical and electronic components to various markets. They have built a reputation for high quality in their market; and in line with their current commitment and emphasis on innovation and research, we are now recruiting an experienced and dynamic VP Operations (ASIA) to lead and manage 6 Manufacturing Sites across the region.

Job Description
Reporting to the VP Asia, you will be responsible for the continuous drive towards high level of service and product delivery to customers, and have full profit and loss responsibility for multiple plants with total revenue of more than € 400 Million. Through the development of a highly motivated and results orientated workforce you will optimize new and existing business opportunities and ensure profitable growth of the plant in line with the company’s strategic plan. You will maximize efficiency through the design and implementation of improved manufacturing strategies and allocate assets and resources to meet productivity goals. In addition, you will lead the development and implementation of a best in class operation’s structure. As a member of the senior management team, you will directly contribute to the growth and success of the business.

The Successful Applicant
You have a Degree from a reputable and recognized tertiary institution; preferably in Engineering and have at least 12 years of relevant multiple plant/operations management experience within the electronics or automotive industry. You must have a track record of success in a management role, leading large teams and delivering operational excellence. You have previous experience in profit & loss management in a manufacturing environment and have demonstrable experience in manufacturing & engineering principles, techniques and methods. Excellent communication skills are essential and proven experience in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
