Job Description
Reporting to the Deputy Group Treasurer, you will help manage the in-house liquidity portfolio and a small dealing team. You will identify appropriate investment opportunities in the foreign exchange, fixed income and money markets to maximise portfolio return within approved risk parameters, while maintaining regular dialogue with financial institutions to explore new investment ideas. You will also use your knowledge of treasury information systems and risk management analytics for capital market instruments to recommend and implement new risk management policies.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should be a degree holder with at least 7 years' relevant experience in a bank or large corporate treasury environment. Prior exposure to foreign exchange dealing and/or fixed income products is preferred, and an MBA, CFA or a recognised professional accounting designation would be an advantage. You must possess strong market awareness and an aptitude for numbers with an in-depth understanding of global capital markets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is expected.
