About Our Client

Our client is a leading renewable energy group with a focus on the wind technology sector. With continued innovation and expansion of core operations in China they now need to appoint a key senior technical professional.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group Managing Director the technical support director is responsible for providing technical support to the full value chain of sales, project execution and service, including analyzing and reporting of technical performance.

• Leads, supervises and directs the work of subordinate while ensuring compliance to the corporate mission, values, safety regulations, technical product specifications, and company policies.
• Performs technical analysis and compliance with sales tenders and lead technical review committee.
• Participate in sales negotiations.
• Monitors capital expenditures and department's operation budgets.
• Builds teamwork and morale, and supports sales, project and service efforts while complying with company policies, procedures and practices.
• Develops modelling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities and provide recommendations for improvements.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify you will posses:

• A relevant engineering degree combined with further commercial marketing and/or business development/strategy education is a requirement.
• At least 8-10 years experience in a respected multinational corporation.
• General understanding of aeronautics and wind turbine technology.
• Extensive knowledge of international technical and quality control standards
• First class project management skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
