About Our Client
Our client is a multi-national textile company specializing in making performance artificial textiles and nylons with offices in three different continents.

Job Description

• Lead technical support activities focusing on customers in the electronics market
• Work closely with other departments and lead electronics team discussions from a technical perspective.
• Support the growth of the business by developing a clear understanding of market conditions and needs, including what the competition is offering.
• Become the UL expert in Asia by demonstrating expert knowledge of the standard and making sure all products manufactured are follow UL standards
• Work closely with technical and manufacturing colleagues in Asia, USA and Europe to ensure the product range is competitive and meet consumer expectations

The Successful Applicant

• 4-5 years industrial experience in a technical position related to injection molding and/or extrusion
• Excellent injection molding problem solving and product design skills
• Bachelor Degree in chemistry, polymer chemistry, mechanical, plastics or other relevant fields
• 2-3 years experience working with UL certification procedures
• Background in electrical appliance / electrical industries preferred
• Good command of both Mandarin and English
• Must be self-motivated, pro-active, have good networking skills and enjoy meeting people
