About Our Client
Our client is a prestigious Hong Kong listed company at a leading position in the industry with global operations in more than 20 countries world wide. To continue the expansion for group business, they are seeking a seasoned tax professional to join the senior management team.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Group General Manager, you will lead a small team and implement global tax policies and procedures and be the major point of contact for all tax planning with a strong focus in International Tax. This key leadership role will play a significant part in overseeing tax management of global operations including driving preparation of all corporate and indirect Tax returns. In addition you will work with the group to formulate further strategies in order to minimize the tax impact in accordance with applicable legislations and perform tax management of new acquisitions.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of corporate tax experience at management level, ideally gained within a Big 4 professional firm and multinational organizations. Exposure to strategic tax planning,tax compliance and tax advisory work within different international tax regimes in the Asia Pacific region, particularly US tax is essential. High motivation, enthusiasm and outstanding communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are prerequisites.
