About Our Client
Our client is a European Multinational with 12,000 employees across 30 countries and revenues of €1 billion. They currently require a high potential candidate to lead the South China facility.

Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations based in Singapore, you will direct a significant Dongguan manufacturing operation, including the development and implementation of the company’s strategy and long term planning on site. With P&L responsibility for production, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance and human resources you will drive efficiency gains across the business, with particular attention to LEAN methodologies within manufacturing and operations. The ability to work with regional and global stakeholders delivering improvements in customer satisfaction is of great importance. Fully accountable for delivering sustained results, you will also continue to foster organizational relationships with suppliers and relevant authorities as the legal representative of this flagship plant.

The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will possess a minimum of 10 years manufacturing management experience within the multinational electronics or automotive sector. Candidates currently within senior operational roles looking to enhance their career in a new and challenging sector are encouraged to apply. High potential candidates seeking to assume a directorship, and can demonstrate successes through results that exceed expectations are also sought after. To succeed, at minimum you will be a driven operations or plant manager with exceptional knowledge and hands on experience of the application of LEAN methodologies. In addition you will be familiar with budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, succession planning, and highly competent communicating at the highest levels in both English and Mandarin.
