About Our Client
For our client a world leading European MNC within the media industry we are now recruiting for a SSC Manager to head up a team of 90 people in Nansha, Guangzhou.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Shares Services Center Director and having full responsibility for a team including Delivery Managers, Process Analysts and Technicians, responsibilities will include:

• Lead process engineering exercise to deliver sustainable and efficient services through continuous improvement activity
• Implement, manage and measure the effectiveness of the recording of financial transactions
• Develop, implement and deliver balance sheet controls, reconciliation and analysis activities
• Develop, implement and manage regulatory compliance
• Ensure all payments are made in accordance with banking authorizations and limits, and all finance activities adherence to local regulations.
• Ensure effective routines are in place to detect, correct and prevent financial accounting error
• Lead the function in reviews to improve customer service and performance
• Pioneer process changes and act as a champion to support business streams through any transformation phase
• Stakeholder relationships management through regular meetings

The Successful Applicant

• Extensive senior management experience, including experience of managing and developing experienced financial professionals.
• Experience in commercial business working with senior management of a large organization with multiple divisions;
• Significant analytical skills including detailed analysis of financial reports
• Broad knowledge of external financial developments and emerging best practice.
• Proven knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance and reporting requirements
• Self-motivated with desire to build up professional finance team.
