Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager you will manage all in - bound, out - bound and internal logistics functions for a huge site of over 40,000 individuals. You will work closely with relevant operational departments to ensure production schedules are expedited in a timely manner, this also includes working closely with 3PL partners. You will ensure there is continuous improvement to standard logistics processes, such as replenishment, data interchange systems, demand management, warehouse management, shipping, receiving, VMI, data systems administration and other related functions are all effectively implemented as appropriate. Finally, you will also build and maintain relationships with strategic customer and logistic partners through logistics initiatives and resolve customer / operational issues.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified you will have a minimum of 10 years experience within a logistics capacity with significant experience managing such functions for large manufacturing operations. You will also have a good knowledge of Chinese customs regulations and requirements and excellent functional skills in warehouse management, shipping, receiving operations and 3PL management. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential.
