Our client is a global leader in the provision of software and processing solutions to a wide range of clients in financial services, higher education and public sector. Continued growth in China has led to the creation of a new Senior Legal Counsel position.
Job Description
The new Senior Legal Counsel will handle general day to day business and operations of business units in a fast paced, highly commercial environment.
This will include advising on and negotiating a range of commercial and technology contracts with customers and business partners in the region. You will also need to liaise with senior management across multiple locations and provide analysis and solutions for a rapidly changing market.
The Successful Applicant
You will be:
- ideally a qualified lawyer in the PRC and/or a common-law or US jurisdiction, with at least 8 years post-qualification experience gained from a leading law firm and/or a multinational.
- Previous experience in the IT industry and/or technology contracts experience would be preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong business acumen are required.
- You will be an independent, dynamic individual who can demonstrate the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is required
