About Our Client
Our client is a leading Investment Bank with an increasing focus on product development for the Asia region. As a result of expansion, the senior management team are looking for experienced professionals to expand with the organization in Hong Kong.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be involved in the following roles:

• Producing and certifying the daily and monthly economic results to FO and PCG
• Providing P&L analysis by risk factors and comments in interaction with PCG
• Working closely with the accounting reconciliation team on discrepancies
• Cooperating with CFO on monthly/quarterly activity and trends
• Participating in various projects and being an essential element and referent for all the partners
• Implementing a better income attribution and P&L commentary
• Optimizing processes in order to meet the D+1 official P&L reporting

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will be a degree holder in a relevant discipline and a qualified accountant with at least four years of experience in the Banking industry. Strong knowledge and experience in product control or the market risk department is a requirement. Knowledge in P&L, Risks and control is essential whilst understanding of accounting principals is a plus. Fluency in English is a must for this role.
