About Our Client
Our Client is a leading global retail group with a growing International presence, specializing in the selling of clothing and premium food products. They are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Retail Manager to oversee multiple retail stores based in Hong Kong.

Job Description
You will be responsible for implementing and executing business strategies and objectives whilst providing leadership and direction to the store team ensuring delivery of results and achieving critical KPIs. You will perform robust analysis of the business environment with a focus on competitor analysis to maximize business opportunities and profitability. The primary deliverable will be to consistently improve efficiency, sales productivity and retail effectiveness. You will also be responsible for recruiting and training employees to ensure highest levels of customer service and product knowledge and ensure that store managers are driving growth and sales effectively through other employees. You will have to take accountability to develop a competent team and build the talent pool to cope with the business needs. This position reports to the Head of Retail.

The Successful Applicant

• Possess a minimum of 8 years solid experience in retail operations with 2-3 years in a similar capacity.
• A university graduate with degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Candidates should have proficient knowledge and experience in managing sizable chain stores.
• Demonstrable experience with creativity, analytical skills, people leadership and excellent leadership skills are required.
• Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with all levels with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
