Recognised as an international financial services organisation, our client is a leading provider of retail, corporate and institutional banking products and services to a diversified client base globally. As a result of a further expansion to the finance team in Asia, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Regional Financial Controller to join this dynamic business.

Job Description

This business critical position reports to the CFO for Asia with responsibility for the preparation and presentation of financial and commercial information for the business. Specifically, this will involve preparation of financial accounts and management reports, financial analysis, overview of tax reporting and ongoing development of the financial control framework. Additionally, you will coordinate the strategic and business planning process for the Asian region and manage a team of experienced professionals.

The Successful Applicant

You will be CA/CPA qualified with extensive accounting experience (10+years) gained in a chartered firm or a large financial services environment. You will demonstrate excellent leadership, technical and commercial skills with the ability to inspire your team. Strong interpersonal skills and a self assured approached will be critical to your success in this role and highly developed skills in written and spoken English are essential.
