Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Compliance, the Export/Import Regional Compliance Manager / Executive is responsible for managing regional export/import compliance activity. Primary responsibilities include (i) the establishment of procedures to ensure compliance with local law in the exportation/importation of goods, (ii) facilitation of regional implementation of the procedures, and (iii) design and execution of an audit protocol to ensure compliance. This individual will also take a leading role in (i) responding to inquiries or notices from regional export/import authorities and (ii) identifying opportunities to minimize costs associated with export/import.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree qualified.
• Minimum 5-7 years of international work experience managing regional trade programs for manufacturing including import, warehousing, distribution, duty brokerage, customs, compliance 3PL/4PL external service in the Americas, Europe, or Asia Pacific Regions.
• Extensive knowledge of regional trade and/or harmonized tariff and customs import fees required; brokerage or other trade operational experience desired; knowledge of corporate trade compliance programs and issues desired;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Competency in Microsoft Office and SAP
