Our client is a global financial institution that provides a range of financial services to its customers.

Job Description

As the Regional Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communications interventions focused on building and maximizing the awareness of the corporate brand , and strengthening the image and reputation of the company externally. In addition you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a yearly regional media relations plan
• Managing media relations in Asia by acting as the central contact point for all media inquiries
• Forming and maintaining constructive relations with regional media and manage the regional PR agency in order to protect the image and reputation of the company
• Ensuring a consistent media approach across the region by supporting local entity CMOs in their contacts with media by aligning activities with existing media strategies (globally and regionally)
• Developing regional PR activities and corporate events in order to strengthen the image and reputation of the company
• Monitoring KPIs to measure and evaluate effectiveness of corporate communications activities
• Managing regional crisis communications plan by updating crisis communications scenarios
• Coordinating any request related to investor relations and support local entities with investor relations when needed

The Successful Applicant

• Degree holder majoring in Communications, Marketing or related area
• A minimum of 7 years’ of relevant experience in a public relations or corporate communications role
• Journalism and/or media relations expertise essential with experience in a regional media relations capacity
• Exposure to/ knowledge of financial industry an advantage
• Have a strong understanding of Key Business Drivers
• Strong international corporate experience and being comfortable in dealing with different cultures and nationalities in a multi-site environment
