About Our Client
Our client is one of the dominant players in the semiconductor industry with continued market growth in the Asia Pacific region. A newly created position has now arisen for a talented finance professional to join the international finance team.

Job Description
Independently reporting to the International Finance Director, you will be the primary contact in the Asia region for all operational accounting matters for Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, and Singapore. Main functions would include preparing financial reports, managing local statutory and tax compliance, and ensuring effective control is in place. You will also be responsible to coordinate the credit function, as well as maintain regular contacts with key distributors and suppliers in the region. In addition, you will participate in ad-hoc projects such as system/process enhancement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant
You should be a degree holder in Accounting or related discipline with a recognised professional accounting qualification. You should possess at least 8 years' relevant experience preferably gained from a multinational environment. You must be familiar with US GAAP and SOX compliance. Excellent verbal and written English and Chinese is required. Exposure to semiconductor and/or high-tech industry experience is a plus.
