Our client is an European group providing a wide range of premium products for major consumer, sports and entertainment brands across the globe. An energetic and driven individual is invited to join their Hong Kong operation.

Job Description
Reporting to the Director, you will be involved in all activities related to the purchasing of textile and sundries for the projects assigned. Working closely with overseas clients, you will manage budgeting, purchasing, shipment and inventory planning while ensuring a high customer service level and timely delivery of materials. You will be the key contact of clients and vendors for problem-solving during the pre-production stage, monitoring vendor compliance, and to ensure the quality standard respects customers' requirements. Other responsibilities include market research and ad-hoc assignments.

The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will have a minimum of 5 years' material planning/ purchasing experience for textile and sundries items preferably from sourcing industry. You will have strong project management abilities as well as possessing good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge in ERP or SAP system is an advantage. A dynamic and result-oriented individual, you will have excellent negotiation and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
