Our client is a market leading European based supplier of consumer durables for indoor and outdoor use. They sell over 55 million products annually in more than 150 countries, with annual sales turnover of USD16 billion. With their rapid growth on international sourcing in LCC's, they are looking for an outstanding candidate to join their Asia Purchasing business.

Job Description

  • Implement purchasing strategies; work closely with suppliers to provide smooth Supply Chain Management
  • Minimize inventory level, support global market sales & ensure efficient introduction of products into the market place
  • Review and evaluate product lines while maintaining NPI & development working with the supplier
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers & implement commercial contracts as required by global purchasing
  • Participate in 'Make Vs Buy' projects Supplier quality & supply chain reliability assessments Actively participate in
  • Finished Goods product development projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 3 years experience in purchasing or Supply Chain Management, engineering background is preferable; Bachelor degree holder;
  • Manufacturing & quality systems knowledge is a plus; Water Heater or Air Conditioning knowledge is preferable
  • Excellent Language skills in written and spoken English, Cantonese will be an advantage
