Job Description
The Project Director will be fully accountable for the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy and development plan for the future growth and financial success of a large scale retail development project. You will be responsible for leading and managing all development activities including detailed feasibility study, concept planning, pre-design, design, construction and project management and marketing initiatives. In addition you will be responsible for the successful completion of the project within budget and specific time frames and milestones.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified in an architectural, engineering or construction related discipline, you will have a minimum of 15 years experience in real estate development and construction in the Asia region, and development experience of retail outlets, preferably within China. You will have proven executive leadership, management and communication skills, and a flawless understanding of development management including financial appraisal, risk management and negotiation. In addition, you will have a wide network of contacts within the real estate and construction industry, a strong strategic focus, and the ability to build and manage business critical partner relationships.
