About Our Client
Our client is a well known fashion brand focusing on footwear, handbag and accessories. This role will be based in its buying office in Dongguan, China.

Job Description
As Product Development Manager for fashion footwear, you will manage, coordinate, and monitor all product development activities and be in charge of the whole footwear development team. You will directly communicate with the buyer team and understand the design concepts and market needs. You will identify problems, conduct analysis, develop alternative strategies to initiate effective managerial, business and technical solutions. You will motivate the development team and ensure outstanding performance of all team members. You will work closely with other teams (costing, production, quality assurance, etc.) to ensure the success of projects.

The Successful Applicant
To be qualified as Product Development Manager, you will have at least 8 years experience in footwear development and sourcing. You will be familiar with dress and fashion footwear. Experience in dealing with overseas buyers and international suppliers is essential. You will have solid management experience so as to effectively lead a team. Understanding of the US market will be a plus. Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must.
