About Our Client
Our client is a prolific retailer of ladies fashion with stores across Asia.
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO you will manage a team of designers, buyers, merchandisers and visual merchandising stylists, liaises with the retail sales team, the group creative unit and factories as well as network with landlords to grow the brand's retail networks across APAC. You will ensure consistent presentation of the brand integrity, image and values, implement the business initiatives to achieve financial targets, conduct marketing presentations and ensure smooth central buying process and effective distribution of merchandise to markets of diversity in terms of seasons and cultures. Furthermore you will plan, forecast, implement and evaluate long term business strategies and short term tactical promotions on products and shops to establish strong brand image. You will also maintain an optimal inventory level at all times to maximize profit generating capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
A degree holder in Fashion, Marketing or Business Administration, you will have at least 12 years experience in the high end ladies fashion retail industry. With a strong sense of fashion sense and an in depth knowledge of retail buying, merchandising, design and production management you will demonstrate excellent commercial judgment and decision making and possess sensitivity to related financial issues. Furthermore you will have strong people management, interpersonal, communication and strategic influencing skills as well as a sense of integrity and accountability to all stakeholders.
