About Our Client
Our client is a highly reputable bank with extensive regional coverage. An opportunity has arisen for a well qualified accounting candidate to join their Product Control team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be involved in the following roles:

• Producing independently and certifying the daily and monthly economic results to FO and group management
• Providing P&L analysis by risk factors and comments
• Validating and publishing the official economic results in D+1 to management
• Working closely with the accounting reconciliation team on discrepancies
• Cooperating with CFO on monthly/quarterly activity's trend comments

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will be a degree holder in a relevant discipline and a qualified accountant with at least six years of experience in the financial services industry. Strong knowledge and experience in product control is a requirement. The successful applicant will have a good grasp of P&L, risks and control, and a good understanding of accounting principals. Fluency in English is a must for this role.
