Within the business, a PART TIME position has become available for a Finance & Accounting Manager within a very progressive, forward looking and commercial Finance function.

Job Description
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will have immediate responsibility for the day to day running of the Finance & Accounting functions in Beijing. Typical parts of the role will include internal & external reporting, business controlling, tax and treasury management. The commercial elements of the role lie in the key relationships outside of the finance function which you will develop in order to attain business deliverables. A range of stakeholders, all the way up to Board level, from such areas as Sales & Marketing will all take their lead from this individual. In turn, this person will need to partner with the business and find the solutions that give quantifiable results.

The Successful Applicant
The successful individual will have a proven track record of success within all areas of their career. Because this role is part time, this person could have a very solid finance background, perhaps with up to ten years worth of experience, and is now committed to things outside of work and as such would like to do a very meaningful finance position but still have flexibility for other activities. Alternatively, this person might have less experience and would therefore work more days while still having time to devote to ex-work activities. They will also have taken steps to become more business orientated in their approach to people and problem resolution. Examples of this are people who have created processes and procedures, which have formed thorough financial controls but have still put the emphasis on the most commercial, not the most technical solution. Experience from within the North Asia market is highly advantageous while the communication skills to achieve the above are absolutely essential.
