About Our Client
Our client is one of the global leading retail stores chains and has over thousands of stores across China. Today, they are looking for a senior retail Operation Director to assist CEO to develop National Business Strategy and Store Operation Standards for their Thousands Stores Expansion Plan in China.

Job Description

Directly report to Group CEO, you will

• set all store operational standards in the chain in China (and measuring performance against this)
• develop/administer the tools necessary to maintain and evolve standards(SOP, manuals, outline for training materials then to be developed by HR)
• develop training outlines that then can be processed by Learning & Development Department and turned into training programs and training materials
• help Learning & Development team to improve training materials from an operational/store staff perspective
• monitoring performance of Operation Managers and Area Managers for CEO in terms of standards execution-through a yet to be developed system
• monitoring stores individual performance of stores against operations standards-through a yet to be developed system
• carry out key projects to keep developing store concept and brand in conjunction with Visual Merchandising and Trading team
• develop and monitor key projects to improve stores effectiveness and productivity
• develop and evolve IT support tools for stores to reduce workload
• carry out an evaluate by annual store self assessment(based on yet to be developed operating model foundation)

The Successful Applicant

• Strong background in chain store operations, ideally fast food or highly organized small store retail with brand appeal
• Having previously worked in a company with strong operations foundation and culture, ideally with both corporate and franchised store culture
• Having been exposed to strong company growth is a key advantage
• Must be strategic thinker and process oriented people
• Must be excellent communicator
• Good in documentation, manual writing skills
• High level of energy, positive, smiling and convincing
• Fluency in English
