About Our Client

My client is one of the key market players as the the Premier Supplier for personal care products. The company has effective control of three distinct business entities with global consumer sales nearly 1 billion USD in 2011.

In 1990s, our client started their local manufacturing,direct marketing and distribution in China . After 20 years operation in China, their top management recognized the enormous business potential for the personal care products here and assign Michael Page to search for one strong sales leader who has Entrepreneur-minded with strong commercial sense and can lead the sales team to grow the business.

Job Description

  • Establish and implement sales objectives, strategies and action plans, in accordance to the China business development goals
  • Design and set up geographical/sales channel and distribution network, set up policy and program to direct distributors, wholesales and retailers in achieving /exceeding sales targets
  • Drive revenue growth through strong sales leadership and out-of -box line with sales expansion plans
  • Identify channel opportunities and develop new markets/segments in line with sales expansion plans
  • Ensures all business activities support strategies and financial objectives, measured through revenue growth,market penetration and channel P&L

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience with at least 3-5 years in senior sales management positions for both multinational and major local consumer product companies; solid experience gained from South China market is a must
  • Proven sales track record and channel development experiences with substantial sales P&L responsibilities
  • Flexible to extensive travel
  • Fluency in Chinese, English is preferred but not a must
  • Candidates with demonstrated management potential and capabilities but do not meet the SD requirement might be considered other suitable sales positions
