About Our Client
Our client is an International company with three big business entities in US, South East Asia Region and Greater China. After 20 years in China, our client decides to accelerate business expansion in this country following their significant business growth successes in other regions in the past few years. For this exciting assignment, they are looking for an hands-on sales director who could take leadership in planning and executing their aggressive China growth strategy! They are looking for those who dare to take the challenge of tripling sales every 3 years!

Job Description

  • Establish and implement sales objectives, strategies and action plans, in accordance to the China business development goals
  • Design and set up geographical/sales channel and distribution network, set up policy and program to direct distributors, wholesalers and retailers in achieving/exceeding sales targets
  • Build a high performance sales organization to deliver rapid and profitable sales growth
  • Drive revenue growth through strong sales leadership and out-of-box breakthrough ideas
  • Identify channel opportunities and develop new markets/segments in line with sales expansion plans
  • Ensure all business activities aligned marketing strategies and financial objectives, measured through revenue growth, market penetration and channel P&L

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years sales experience with at least 3-5 years in senior sales management positions for both multinational and major local fast moving consumer product companies
  • Proven sales track record and channel development experiences with substantial sales P&L responsibilities
  • Solid demonstrated track in Southern China in a must while seasoned national sales management experience is a definite advantage for career advancement
  • Entrepreneur-minded with strong commercial sense, able to quickly adapt to dynamic environment and changing business conditions
  • Strong analytical skill and able to conclude and derive action plan
  • Can-do attitudes, hands-on, welcome challenges and lead changes
  • Honesty, integrity and trust

What's On Offer
This is a very senior management appointment. Depending on the incumbent's experiences and capabilities, the position could be upgraded to be Commercial Director.
