About Our Client
Our Client is a MNC of home appliances; due to a period of strong growth they are now looking to expand their merchandiser team in Hong Kong.

Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director, you will handle new product development, price negotiations and sourcing in addition to managing the whole merchandising process and arranging inspections until bulk production is approved for shipment. You will work closely with the vendors and regional product development team for sourcing new items and provide reasonable costing and production lead-time while ensuring that vendor's quality and delivery schedule are up to company standards.

The Successful Applicant
To qualify for this role, you will be a Degree holder. You will have a minimum of 4 years' solid merchandising experience in soft-good products - homecare or cleaning products. You will be detail minded, efficient and self-motivated with excellent negotiation and communication skills. A results driven merchandiser, you will be well organized and able to work independently under pressure of meeting deadlines. You will possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to lead and negotiate with different counterparts. Good command of English and Chinese is essential. Frequent travel to PRC required.
