About Our Client
Our client, a retailer, is now opening a new buying office in Shenzhen. They are looking for a Merchandise Manager for Home Textile and Hard Goods Merchandise Manager for Men’s Wear based in Shenzhento join their new set up office in Shenzhen.

Job Description

As Merchandise Manager, you will

• Review cost sheets ad conduct negotiations with suppliers
• Develop & execute sourcing strategic to support the needs and growth of the company
• Evaluate, source and develop qualified suppliers who fit the company’s criteria
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationship
• Exceed supply quality and delivery objectives
• Proactively source and develop new products
• Manage cost negotiation to meet cost guidelines
• Coordinate with multifunctional project teams to reach sourcing targets
• Lead and monitor merchandise team

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 5 years in sourcing and merchandising environment with a focus on home textile
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good English & Mandarin (verbal & written)
