About Our Client
Our client is a global sourcing office and mainly represented in Europe, South America, Indian Ocean and South East Asia. The group headquarters in France is on the retailer's A-list with revenue of nearly 30 billion Euros in 2010, with more than 12,00 stores worldwide. They would like to invite dynamic and motivated applicants for the Merchandise Manager position based in Guangzhou.

Job Description

• Formulate and implement merchandise strategies for the hard line goods category. i.e. furniture, power tools, luggage, kitchenware etc.
• Lead a team to achieve its sales target by providing the best sourcing solutions to the overseas clients in Europe or domestic clients
• Provide products generating sales, margin and differentiation from suppliers

The Successful Applicant

• University degree with more than 5 years experience in major trading company or sourcing organization or international retailer in hard line products
• Fluent in Chinese and English, ability to speak other European languages will be a plus
• Experienced in managing OEM projects
